Pursuing what?

Tuesday - 4/17 - Read James 1:1

As followers of Jesus Christ we pursue things in life that people around us, who do not know Christ, are going to think odd. Take a moment to think of a couple of these pursuits.

Contrast some of the things that people without Christ sometimes pursue.

Are all of the pursuits of this world necessarily wrong?

What could make them wrong?

Do you feel pressure in your life to pursue these things over the things of God?

Have you ever felt the negative pressure of following after these pursuits?

Have there been times that this pressure caused you to give up those pursuits?

How are you doing in your life?

How is your family doing? Is there need of some adjustments in your family?

How about Grace Evangelical Free Church? Are we pursuing the very best things as a church?
