Friday - 4/20 - Read James 1:1
The Epistle of James helps us to expect pressure in this world. Are you having a hard time with this concept?
Nobody likes pressure, but it seems that God wants us to not only expect it but also to embrace it.
How could this "make or break you" spiritually?
Did God ever say that the Christian life would be easy?
Jesus told us that if we wanted to be His followers we would have to "take up our cross daily and follow Him."
Write down some of the pressure you face. Write down three or four sources of pressure. Now, give them to God and ask Him to glorify His name through those pressures.
Read James 1:2-12 for next Sunday.
