Tuesday - 4/24 - Read James 1:2-12
Do you remember the reason we should "consider it pure joy" when you face trials of many kinds? It was found in James 2:3,4a.
James says to the Jewish believers who had been scattered because of persecution "you know" the reason.
According to v. 3 what does the testing of our faith produce?
Get a dictionary and look up the word "perseverance." What does the word mean?
Why doesn't God take away our problems, even when we pray that He would?
Are trials, testings and pressure in this world always negative?
Why or why not?
Will you trust God that He is doing something good through the trials you face?
Read James 1:13-18 for next Sunday.
