Chasing donkeys

Monday - 4/2 - Matthew 21:1-11

What do you think of when you think of Palm Sunday? I know I personally think of Palm Branches! In fact for a long, long time that's about the limit of what I'd think of.

What about what happened on that day that Jesus triumphantly rode into Jerusalem on the back of that colt? What do you think of then?

Do you think of the disciples and what they were thinking when the Lord asked them to go and untie someone's donkeys and take them? Seems kinda bizarre.

Does it seem kinda bizarre for the Lord to ask you to loose your live to find it? To be a servant in order to be a leader? To seek His kingdom first in your life, even over food, clothing, etc.?

What are some other areas of the Christian life that seem a little odd and maybe out of step with the world and how it sees things?

Jesus asks us to chase those "donkeys," as it were. Are you willing to do so?

How might Jesus use those "donkeys" to present Himself to the world as King?
